What is Daadaar?

Daadaar is a national and legal initiative founded by the National Assembly of Iranian Jurists (NAIJ) to document, preserve, and safeguard the truth. The initiative rests on three pillars: honoring the memory of those who lost their lives (Yaadmaan), tracking the fate of detainees and victims of enforced disappearance (Daadbaan), and identifying the perpetrators and commanders behind systematic human rights violations in Iran (Daadyaar). 
 The Daadaar platform systematically maps and documents the power structure, institutional networks, and chains of responsibility within the Islamic Republic and its affiliated entities. 
 With the goal of exposing structural and institutionalized injustices, the platform provides a secure and anonymous channel for citizen reporting, while making the data available for review, verification, and use by the international community, human rights organizations, and competent judicial authorities. 
 Daadaar was created to preserve the collective memory of the Iranian nation, strengthen legal documentation, and support the Iranian people's demand for justice.

Is Daadaar safe and anonymous?

Daadaar is built with a privacy-by-design approach. Reporter identities are never publicly disclosed, no IP addresses are stored, and all communications are encrypted. A custom Proof-of-Work (PoW) mechanism protects system integrity without requiring user identification. The platform is designed to be safely usable even in censored and surveilled environments.

How can I submit a report?

Reporters can submit information about individuals, institutions, or specific events to the Daadaar platform without publicly disclosing their identity. The reporter's identity is kept confidential by the platform. To ensure the credibility and verification of each report, submitting necessary metadata — including time, approximate location, and information source — is required. This metadata is only accessible to the Daadaar verification team and will never be published publicly.
