Yasna Eskandari

The late Yasna Eskandari, a lawyer and painter, was killed by gunfire in January 2026 during nationwide protests in the Ariashahr neighborhood of Tehran, while striving for freedom. According to her sister, she possessed a very calm, compassionate, and self-sacrificing spirit, and participated in the protests for her objective: the freedom of her compatriots.
