Sadegh Ghodsi

Sadegh Ghodsi, a young Azerbaijani Yarsan from Hampa village in Takab city, was killed on the evening of January 8, 2020, by agents of the criminal regime of the Islamic Republic in Qaleh Hasan Khan, Tehran. Sadegh Ghodsi and Ilya Ghodsi are cousins. They were present at the Qaleh Hasan Khan protests in Qods City, where both were shot in the back of the head and lost their lives. Sadegh Ghodsi was 37 years old and had two children, while Ilya was 17 years old. Security forces demanded 800 million Toman for each body as a 'bullet fee' for their release. Unfortunately, their families were unable to pay this amount. The regime exploited this situation, stating that the bodies would be released only if the families declared that their children were Basij members and had been killed by foreign agents.
